James “Butch” Oakes

Oakes, Sr., James "Butch", of Lake St. Louis, Missouri, died on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at the age of 77. Loving husband of the late Nancy Oakes; beloved son of the late Joseph and Viola Oakes; devoted father of Jim (Patty) Oakes, Bob Oakes and Nancy (Greg) Shepherd; cherished grandfather of Amanda (Timmy) Lindsey, Jereme Shepherd and Jessica Shepherd; treasured great-grandfather of Skyla and Johnny Lindsey, Shaylee and Tracey Foster; dear brother of Gerald (Florence) Oakes. Butch is survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Memorials may be made to The American Heart Association.
