James "Butch" Brooks, Jr.

James proudly and honorably served in the United States Army. He retired from Ford Motor Company after about 30 years of dedicated service. James loved Christmas; it was his favorite holiday along with Independence Day. He would spend hours decorating his Christmas tree. It was very unique, and everything had its own special place. He was meticulous about the lighting and had a gold ornament collection. James kept his Christmas tree up all year round and it remains standing today. He loved to celebrate Christmas in July and go fishing any chance he got. 

James enjoyed doting on the people he loved and did his best to spoil his family. He was fun loving and prioritized his family above all else. He was very close to his son and his two grandchildren and cherished every moment spent with each of them. 

James was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
