James Allen Prowell

J. 'Allen' Prowell of Saint Charles, MO, formerly of Hamilton, Ohio, left this world for his heavenly home on Friday March 27, 2015, at the age of 56. Loving husband of Lee Ann Prowell; beloved son of Phyllis Prowell and the late James Shelley Prowell, a retired Major in the US Air Force; devoted father of Zachary Allen (Alona Lee) Prowell and Jessica Annalee Prowell, dear uncle of Noel, Natalie, Nicole, and Nathan. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Tonya Estes; brother-in-law, Tommie (Kristen) Estes; many cousins, aunts, and uncles.
He was employed by Kumon for over 20 years and was a devoted advocate for children's education. Allen was a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Wildwood, Missouri. He was an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals, St. Louis Blues, and the Kansas City Chiefs. He enjoyed his 1984 Porsche in his younger days. Allen also enjoyed spending time with his son at the airshows and shopping with his daughter.
