Jacqueline "Jacque" Hummel (nee Chauvin), of Saint Louis, MO, passed away Thursday, March 27, 2025, at the age of 99. Beloved wife of the late Joseph "Joe" Hummel; cherished daughter of the late Charles and Helen Chauvin. Devoted mother of Jan Morrissey and Judith English; loving grandmother of Joy Edler; treasured great-grandmother of Tim (Gabby) Stremlau, Jack Stremlau, and Victoria Edler. Preceded in death by her brother, Charles (the late Betty) Chauvin Jr.; daughter, Mary Jeralyn Hummel.

Jacque was an elementary teacher at St. Timothy Catholic School, now known as St. Mark Catholic School, where a scholarship was established in her honor. She found joy in her time at Clarendale St. Peters and deeply appreciated her friendships and the wonderful staff there. Passionate about education, the arts, and dancing, Jacque was a social and active member of her community. She dedicated her time to volunteering with various organizations and tutoring students, always eager to support and inspire others. Jacqueline was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Memorials may be made in Jacqueline's name to St. Vincent De Paul Society.
