Jackie, as she was affectionately known, was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her journey on this earth was one marked by love, compassion, and unwavering loyalty to those she loved. Her passing has left a void in the hearts of her family, friends, and many more whose lives were touched by her. We ask that you remember her not for the way her life ended, but for the way it was lived, and for the profound impact it had on the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing her.
She is survived by her mother Donna Jacobs, Siblings Deborah, Connie, Robert (Tammy), Donald (Jeannie), and Vicki (Dwayne), along with many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her Grandparents, her Father Howard V. Jacobs, and her Niece Trisha Jacobs.
After her graduation from Francis Howell High School, Jackie set out to explore the world and her love for knowledge. She faithfully served her country in the United States Air Force in Anchorage, Alaska. She held many jobs, all of which allowed her to be immersed in her community where she felt the most fulfilled. She began working for the Troy Rill School District in 2006 and remained here until she retired as an Administrative Assistant of Chartwells Dining Services in 2021.
Outside of her work, Jackie found joy in music. She loved country music and often traveled the country with her loving husband Russell following their favorite country artists and rodeo riders. She loved participating in her daughter's many activities. She was a beloved show choir mom from 2014-2017 and a softball coach for countless teams for over a decade. Jackie was not just a mother to Rhiannon, but also a bonus mom to many children she came in contact with over the years through Rhiannon's activities. Over the last two years, Jackie's time was spent connecting with her grandbaby girl Violeta, enjoying every moment she could, soaking in the baby snuggles and neverending giggles.
Those who knew Jackie will remember her for his infectious smile and overwhelming laughter, her deep-rooted love for the Green Bay Packers, and her unwavering commitment to spreading love and kindness to everyone she encountered. She had a rare gift for making others smile and laugh, leaving a lasting impact on all who crossed her path.
