Jack Schneider

John “Jack” Francis Schneider of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Saturday, July 19, 2025, at the age of 97. Cherished son of the late Frank and Freidaline Schneider; beloved husband of the late Mary Schneider; devoted father of Jean (Philip) Gruber, Mary Jane Schneider, and John N. (Linda) Schneider; treasured grandfather of Kate Luther, Beth Wilburn, Joe Gruber, Dan Range, Dave Range, Jennifer Strathman, and Natalie Schneider; loving great-grandfather of 12. Preceded in death by his three sisters, Marcella Kemper, Mary Ann C. Kuhlmann, and Kathleen "Bee" Wetter.

Jack was a beloved father, friend, and master florist. He has left behind a legacy of beauty, laughter, and love. For 25 years, Jack owned and operated Jack Schneider Florist, where his artistry and passion for floral design made him a respected figure in the industry. His talent took him across the United States and Canada, where he shared his knowledge and inspired others through teaching.

A proud Korean War Veteran, Jack brought the same dedication and spirit to his community and personal life. He had a deep love for his yard and found joy tending to it, always surrounded by nature’s beauty. Jack was an avid traveler, especially drawn to Europe, which he visited many times.

Jack’s love for life was matched only by his love for his family. He was a great friend to many—lighthearted, easygoing, and full of humor. He never took himself too seriously and brought joy and laughter wherever he went. Truly a one-of-a-kind character, Jack was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
