Jack L. Kemper

Jack Lee Kemper, of St. Charles, Missouri, passed away peacefully Thursday, December 18, 2025, at the age of 91. Beloved husband of the late Carolyn Kemper; cherished son of the late Walter Jr. and Ruby Kemper; step father of Julia Chinn, Laura Christian, and Mindy (Christian) Beauregard; loving grandfather of Laura Elizabeth, Katie, Danae, and Ben (Kendra); great-grandfather of Lance, Riley, Blake, Charlee Kate, Carter, Cal, and Brooks; dear uncle, cousin and friend. Jack is preceded in death by his two brothers, Robert S. (Rosann survives) Kemper and Walter "Bud" (Rhoda survives) Kemper III, his sister, Patricia L (Ollie) Oertle; and sister in-law Luella (Clyde) Rogers.

Jack was a veteran of the United States Army. He had a dedicated career at Southwestern Bell/AT&T. Jack enjoyed a lively game of TOK or Pinochle, Blackjack, Poker, or gathering with family he adored. Christmas meant homemade donuts and pies from Jack’s kitchen, a tradition everyone looked forward to. In his free time, Jack loved golfing, earned his private pilot’s license so he could travel and visit family, cruising around the world, and riding on his Harley motorcycle. Jack’s laughter, comedic character, and presence will be missed by all who knew him.

Memorials may be made in Jack's name to Diabetes Association and Arlington Methodist Church in Bridgeton.
