Iona Scott, of O'Fallon, Missouri, died on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at the age of 89. Beloved daughter of the late Arthur and Gladys Raasch; devoted mother of Donna (Charles "Chuck") Coello, Pam Dempewolf, and Craig (Lisa) Scott; cherished grandmother of Andrew Dempewolf, Natalie (Steve) Griffin, Matthew (Mary) Coello, Kristen (Andy) Korbesmeyer, Katie (Joey Juengst) Scott, Kelley (Ryan) Kuhlmann, and Michael Scott; treasured great-grandmother of Liegha, Lindsey, Levi, Tristen, Noah, Alex, and Alison. She is preceded in death by her sister Virginia Kloppenburg, and her loving dog and companion Missy.
Iona was a U.S. Navy veteran and was a Records Keeper at the U.S. Army Support and Command Center for many years before she retired. She enjoyed traveling (especially cruises), sewing, cooking, baking pies, embroidery, and she loved her dogs. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Memorials may be made to Five Acres Animal Shelter.
