Inez K. Wallis Jackson

Inez K. Wallis Jackson (nee Sams), of Augusta, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at the age of 94.  Loving wife of Jim Jackson and the late H.L. Wallis; beloved daughter of the late Joe Bennett Kimbal Davis and the late Homer Lee Sams; devoted mother of Randy Britton, DeAnn Williams, Chris DeBerry, and Michael Wallis; cherished grandmother of Jimmy DeBerry, Jason McCombs, Twila Williams, Todd Williams, TeAnn Williams, Steven Britton, Lisa Wallis, Jacqueline Wallis, and Sean Wallis.  Inez is also survived by her dearest friends, Mary Clark and Janey Rouse.  

Inez retired after more than 30 years with National Vendors as a factory worker.  She enjoyed her job and the people she worked with.   

Inez was very thrifty and loved shopping ang going to garage sales.  She also had a passion for cooking and baking, and she made the best lemon pie.  Inez was a faithful member of the Tupelo Assembly of God, in Arkansas.    

Inez loved the outdoors and always looked forward to camping and fishing at Lake Wappapella with her family.  She also liked watching movies and her favorite was Coal Miner’s Daughter.  

Inez was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.  Memorial contributions may be made in Inez's name to Shriners Hospitals for Children.
