Howard S. “Bushes” Kirkpatrick

Kirkpatrick, Sr., Howard S. "Bushes", of O’Fallon, Missouri, died on Saturday, July 24, 2010 at the age of 88. Beloved husband of Doris J. Kirkpatrick (nee: Waller); dear son of the late Clyde and Rose Kirkpatrick; devoted father of Howard "Butch" (Lynn) Kirkpatrick II, Bennie (Cindy) Kirkpatrick, Karen (Jim) Eberhart, and Cassa (Larry) Kampmann; cherished grandfather of 14 and great-grandfather of 28. He is preceded in death by his son Edward Kirkpatrick. Mr. Kirkpatrick was a truck driver for 38 years before he retired. He was a lifetime member of VFW 5077 of O'Fallon and DHV Chapter 53, and also was awarded 6 bronze stars for his service in World War II. Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Foundation.
