Hope Lawrence

Claudine “Hope” Lawrence (nee McFerron), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Friday, August 15, 2025, at the age of 87. Beloved wife of the late Roy Lee Lawrence; cherished daughter of the late Claude and Opal McFerron; devoted mother of Mark (Faith ) Lawrence, Vicky (Jim) Roeger, Debra (Mike ) Seithel; loving grandmother of Damion, Matthew, Katie, Amy, Adam, Shawn, Kristy, Jared, Aaron, Sam, Emily, Makayla; Great-grandmother of 15; dear sister of Barbara Roberts, Faye (Cliff ) Nelson, and sister-in-law of Bob Volner. She is preceded in death by her sister, Louise Volner, and brother-in-law, Jim Roberts.

Hope, lovingly known as the “dog lady,” had a deep love for animals and a generous heart. She found joy in quilting, baking cookies and pumpkin pie during the holidays, and was especially known for her delicious fruit salad. A devoted member of her church, Hope also enjoyed camping in her younger years, spending time at the beach, and soaking up the sunshine. She was an avid game player who cherished laughter and time with family. A loyal St. Louis Cardinals fan, she never missed a game and had a special fondness for Ted Drewes.

 Claudine was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
