Hilda Bridges

Hilda Bridges (nee Dunbar), of St. Charles, MO, passed away Friday, March 8, 2024, at the age of 97. Beloved wife of the late William Bridges; devoted mother of Catherine (Charles "Chuck") Denman, Charles (Susan) Bridges, and Barbara (the late Jay "Danny") Maurer; loving grandmother of Charity (Chris) Scalzi, Sara (Dave Lawrence) Maurer, Allison (Anthony) Reilly, Matthew Maurer, Lauren (James) Carlile, Christina Maurer, Courtney Bridges, and Wiliam "Will" Maurer; treasured great grandmother of Levi, Frankie, Isaac, and Owen; dear sister of Paul Dunbar; cherished aunt, cousin, and friend. Hilda was also preceded in death by three sisters, Melba Trible, Wilma Flowers, Laverne Mclean, and two brothers James Dunbar, and John Dunbar.

Hilda was a devout member of the First Baptist Church of St. Charles. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Memorials may be made in Hilda 's name to the Missouri Baptist Children's Home or the Salvation Army.
