Herbert F. Guild Jr.

Herbert F. Guild Jr., devoted husband and father, passed away at the age of 88 on 10 October 2025 in St Charles, MO.

Herb was born in Manchester, New Hampshire in 1936 where he later joined the United States Air Force. Herb’s many assignments during his service included England, the Philippines, Korea, Greenland and Spain. He served for 30 years and then retired in Colorado Springs, CO where he made many good friends. Herb spent his leisure time camping, golfing, playing poker and watching football. He was a proud member of the Colorado Retired Enlisted Association from its beginnings and also belonged to the National Top Enlisted Association.

Herbert (Herb) is survived by his loving wife Patricia of 66 years and their children, Dawn, Tony (Liza) and Terry (Kimberly), three grandsons Tyler, Tanner and Trevor, and two great-granddaughters Denver and Savanna who brought great joy to Herb’s last years. Herb also cared very deeply for his extended family in England and New Hampshire. Herb was preceded in death by his father Herbert Sr., mother Josephine and two siblings Jim and Connie.

We will say our final farewells to Herb with close friends and family at Baue Funeral Home in St Charles, MO. 24 October 2025. Herb will be interred at Jefferson Barracks at a later date. He will be sorely missed and forever loved.
