Helen Forstmann, of St. Charles, Missouri, fortified with the sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at the age of 93. Helen was the loving wife of the late Raymond Anthony Forstmann, and dear daughter of the late Albinus J. and Theresa A. Orf. Devoted mother of her daughters Judith F. (Richard) Brown, Phyllis F. (Michael) Barnhouse, Lisa H. Slaughter, Mary F. (Blane) Ecsedy, and her son George R. Forstmann; cherished grandmother of Christopher J. (Wendy) Brown, Bryan J. (Jennifer) Barnhouse, and Nicolas R. Forstmann; and dear sister-in-law of Eula Lee Orf. She is also survived by three nieces, three nephews, and many cousins and friends. She is preceded in death by her brother Aelred L. Orf and twin brothers Leroy G. and Elroy J. Orf. Helen was a long time member of St. Peter Catholic Church and the St. Charles Business and Professional Women's Club. She was also a member of the Sinawik Club and a very active member of the Mother's Club at the Academy of the Sacred Heart. Three of her greatest passions were reading, traveling and St. Louis Cardinals Baseball, but her main love and deepest passion was her family. Memorials may be made to the Academy of the Sacred Heart of St. Charles, Maryville University of St. Louis, or Masses at St. Peter Catholic Church.
