Helen Elizabeth Creech

Helen E. Creech (nee Diener), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at the age of 95. Loving wife of the late Alvie H. Creech and the cherished daughter of the late William and Frances Diener; devoted mother of Pam (the late Lonnie) Luesse and Jean (Mark) Hodges; loving grandmother of Ginger, Kati (John), Sarah (Bill), Lance (Sarah), Bobby, Abbey (Jameson), Courtney, Brendan and Chase; eleven great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Helen is also preceded in death by two daughters, Patricia Wesling and Chris Creech.

Helen was an active and enthusiastic member of her community, participating in the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary, the 50 Plus Club of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, and attending many weekend ministry retreats. She was also involved with the Down Syndrome Association and embraced a wide range of interests throughout her life. Always ready to go and full of energy, Helen was an excellent bowler who competed on numerous teams over the years, and she remained athletic from her youth, having played softball as a young lady. A true sports fanatic, she especially loved watching the St. Louis Cardinals and St. Louis Blues. Helen was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
