Hazel L. Brookshire

Brookshire, Hazel L., lifelong resident of St. Louis, Missouri, died on Monday, July 29, 2013 at the age of 87. Loving wife of the late John A. Brookshire; beloved daughter of the late Fred and Hazel Timm; devoted mother of Craig (Deborah) Brookshire and Karen (Gary) Marion; cherished grandmother of four; treasured great-grandmother of four; also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She is preceded in death by her brothers Earl and Leonard Timm. Hazel was an avid traveler. She volunteered for the "Nearly New" shop at Barnes Hospital for many years. Hazel loved animals and served as a zoo parent and was a member of Shaw Gardens.
