Belle Keough

Hazel Belle Keough (nee Lutz), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Saturday, September 6, 2025, at the age of 102. Beloved wife of the late Joseph F. Keough; cherished daughter of the late Hazel and Joseph Lutz; devoted mother of Kevin (Silvia) Keough, Geoffrey Keough, James Keough, Victor (Annie) Keough, Sean Keough, Kerry Keough, Judy (Jeffrey) Cummings, and Colleen (Kenny) Renshaw; loving grandmother of 29; dear sister of Mary Clark; treasured great-grandmother, great-great grandmother, aunt, great-aunt, and friend to many.

Belle was a thoughtful, encouraging, and hardworking woman who loved serving and helping others. She was a woman of strong Catholic faith, devoted to prayer and especially steadfast in praying for her children, who lovingly credit her prayers as a true source of protection and strength for them. Belle adored her family, especially her grandchildren, and played an important role in growing her husband’s chiropractic office before later supporting other family members’ businesses. Always preferring to stay busy, she gave her best to everyone around her. An Army veteran and Palmer College graduate, Belle met the love of her life, Joseph, at Grand Central Station on Valentine’s Day, and together they shared 61 wonderful years of marriage. She was one of a kind, dearly loved, and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
