Ehlmann; loving son of the late Martin L. and Clara Ehlmann; cherished father of Nancy L. Schroeder (Dan), James K. Ehlmann (Barbara), Richard M. Ehlmann (Martha), Gail A. Groh (Greg) and the late Donald H. Ehlmann; dear grandfather of seven and great-grandfather of three; dear brother of Marlan (Virginia), Francis (LaVerne), Arlie (LaVerne), Carlton (Annette), and the late Kurt Ehlmann; loving brother of Lucile Meyer and the late Jeanette Swan; dear brother-in-law of Anna Marie Ehlmann; dear uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend to many. Mr. Ehlmann was a member of American Legion Post #312 and Immanuel Lutheran Church of St. Charles where he served on various boards and committees. He was a plumber for 47 years, first working for Omar Merx Plumbing Co. in St. Charles for 25 years and then working for E&M Plumbing Co. for 13 years. He was also a member of Plumbers and Pipefitters Local #562. He served in the United States Army Air Force from November 18, 1942 until November 16, 1945.
