Harry “Dub” Lender Jr., of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at the age of 84. Beloved husband of Carol Lender; cherished son of the late Harry Sr., and Helen Lender; devoted father of Richard Lender and David (Tina) Lender; loving grandfather of Shane Lender, Robin (Caleb) Buck, Brianna Bertubin, Alexander (Taylor) Bertubin, Madyson Lender and Andrew Lender; great-grandfather of Aireth Lender; dear brother of Judith Lender.
Affectionately known as “Dub,” Harry was a man who brought joy and laughter to everyone around him. He was married to the love of his life, Carol, for nearly 58 wonderful years—a testament to their deep and enduring bond.
Harry proudly served his country in the United States Navy for four years. Following his service, he built a long and dedicated career with Delta Airlines, where he worked for 29 years. After retiring, he continued to stay active by working with the Francis Howell School District.
Harry and Carol shared many happy times together, especially enjoying bowling in a league and traveling. He had a passion for flying his glider—his favorite pastime—and also enjoyed boxing, working out, and staying active.
A creative spirit, Harry loved video editing and videography, capturing memories and moments that reflected his appreciation for life. Known for his humor and lighthearted nature, he was always ready with a joke and a smile.
Above all, Harry was a loving and caring person who truly enjoyed life and the people in it. He was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Memorials may be made in Harry's name to American Heart Association.
