Harrison Eugene Franklin

Harrison Eugene Franklin of O Fallon, MO, passed away Thursday, July 14, 2022 at the age of 87. Loving husband of Ruth Ann Franklin; beloved son of the late Martin and Anna Franklin; devoted father of Jeffrey (Carol) Franklin and Leanne (Jaime) Alvarado; treasured grandfather of Joshua Franklin, Rachel Franklin, Cassandra Franklin and Nicholas Alvarado; great-grandfather of Oliver Franklin; dear brother of Thomas (Audrey) Franklin; loving uncle of many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, dear friends, Ray (Marg) Shaw. 

Harrison proudly and honorably served in the United States Air Force and was a part of the military police force. He was a man of faith and was an usher and Deacon at Ridgecrest Baptist Church and most recently attended Willot Road Baptist Church. Harrison was married to the love of his life Ruth Ann for over 62 years. He and his wife enjoyed raising their children who have fond memories of camping trips where they spent time canoeing and enjoying the quiet calm of the outdoors. Harrison was a gentle, patient and a very sweet and kind man. He loved good ole fashioned country music, the original kind. Harrison was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
