Harold Swofford, Jr.

Harold Swofford, Jr., age 73, passed away on March 13 in Silex, MO. He was born in Tennessee to Harold Sr. and Dorothy. He attended Riverview Gardens and served in the United States Navy, receiving an honorable discharge. Most recently, he worked as a bus driver for the Ferguson-Florissant School District until his retirement.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Loretta; his parents; and his brothers, Donald, Albert (Paris), and Claude. He is survived by his daughter, Kathleen Cardenas-Salas (Michael); his son Bryan Gawedzinski (LeeAnn); and his grandchildren, Hailey and Jacob. He also leaves behind his close friend and "brother from another mother", Mike Hrenak.

He was an avid outdoorsman. He spent his time hunting and fishing, gardening, and was consistently in the company of his dogs.
