Harold R. Curtis

Curtis, Harold R. “Curt”, of O’Fallon, MO, passed on Sunday, June 18, 2017, at the age of 83. Loving husband of Virginia Curtis for 41 years. Devoted father of Julie (Michael) Spina, Christy Curtis Buss, Bridget (John) Boyko, Jim (Dorothy) Curtis, and Cynthia Curtis; cherished grandfather of Antonio, Nicole, Dominique, Jenna, Briana, Jacey, Norman, Brent, Grant, and Destiny; dear brother of Gary (the late Betty) Curtis, Jeanette (Eddie) Dolen, Janet (Mike) Lynn, and Kenneth Curtis. He is preceded in death by his sisters, Barbara Ann Crews and Doris Kaiser.

Curt served his country proudly in the United States Air Force. He was a member of Florissant Valley Memorial American Legion Post 444, and belonged to Assumption Catholic Church in O’Fallon, MO. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and his love for family was extraordinary but kids were his passion. He was known as “soccer grandpa” to over a thousand girls who played select soccer in high school and college. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
