Harold A. Spiegel

Harold Albert Spiegel, 85, died September 12, 2008. Harold was born January 13, 1923 in St. Louis, Missouri. He was the beloved husband of Elizabeth Spiegel, father of one son, Harold Spiegel, Jr., and a daughter, Betty (Richard) Ciottone. He has three grandchildren, Tobia Ciottone, Andrew and Aaron Spiegel. He was the brother of Joseph Speigel, the late June Hakemier, Janet Simpson, and Sidney Spiegel. He was a brother-in-law and uncle. Harold was a Mason and a member of St. Charles Lodge 241, St. Charles Gateway 500, a member of the Shriners, "Q", the Scottish Rite, Shriners Sound Unit, YoMo's, Legion of Honor, Swords of Bunker Hill, Hillbillies, Grandma's, VFW, American Legion, American Veterans, Odd Fellows and the Eagles. He was a veteran of WWII, the Berlin Crisis and the Korean War. He joined the Air National Guard as a Tech Sergeant and retired as a Chief Master Sergeant in 1983. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shriners Childrens Hospital, St. Louis, MO.
