Gracie Gipson
August 14, 1937 — January 21, 2017
Gipson, Gracie (nee: Walker), of Saint Charles, MO, went to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on Saturday, January 21, 2017, at the age of 79. Loving wife of Wayne Gipson and her former husband, the late Raymond F. Bryant; beloved daughter of the late H.R. and Georgia Walker; devoted mother of Cheryl (Tony) Anthonis and Andrea (Greg) Beckmeyer; cherished grandmother of Aaron, Caleb, Jacob, Sarah, Rachel, and Rebekah Anthonis, and Adam (Kristin), Anna, Joel, Abby, and Jesse Beckmeyer; treasured great-grandmother of Job Beckmeyer; stepmother of Mark Gipson and Kimberly (Michael) Liebert.
Gracie was a math teacher at Cross Keys Middle School, and was a longtime member of Hope Congregational Church and a current member of First Baptist Church of St. Charles. She served the Lord wholeheartedly through her church and many Christian organizations. Gracie was both a teacher and a lifelong learner. She enjoyed sharing her life with many friends and family members all for the glory of God. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and loyal friend to many. Gracie was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
