Grace E. Pettyjohn (nee Williamson)
Entered into rest on Sunday, January 30th, 2022 at the age of 87. Loving wife of Raymond J. Pettyjohn Jr.; beloved mother of Steven (Donna) Pettyjohn and Serena Pettyjohn; cherished grandmother of Garret and Aaron Pettyjohn; dear sister of the late Amos (Elsie), the late Samuel “Sonny”, the late Joseph, and the late David (Carolyn) Williamson; beloved daughter of the late Samuel and Viola (nee Brown) Williamson; dear friend to many.
Grace enjoyed walking, reading, traveling, and spending time with her friends. She loved to volunteer her time wherever she could- at DePaul hospital and several community organizations. She worked over 20 years for Famous Barr (Macy’s). She was a longtime supporter of PBS (KETC) Channel 9, the St. Louis Zoo, and Missouri Botanical Gardens. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Grace’s name may be made to the American Heart Association or the Missouri Botanical Gardens.
