Gordon H. Drees

Drees, Gordon H. of St. Charles, MO, was welcomed home by his Lord Jesus on Sunday July 5, 2015, at the age of 81. Loving husband of the late Evelyn Regina Drees; devoted son of Frances August H. and Frances Drees; dear father of Daniel (Susan) Drees, James Drees, Linda (Leo) Geringer, and Sharon (Ken) Howard; cherished grandfather of Jessica, Brent, Kevin, Cory (Erica), Adam, Angela, Brandon, Emily, Sarah, Rachael, Elizabeth, Anna, and Mary; treasured great-grandfather of Rocky, Hunter, Jace, and Cannon; dear brother of  Norma Jean (Jerome) Ritter. He is preceded in death by his daughter Ann Drees.

Gordon greeted the world with the most beautiful smile and twinkle in his eyes. He was one of a kind, the last of the greatest generation, and a role model of how to live life well. This incredibly special man loved our Lord, his wife, and his family above all things and treated everyone like a friend. He was proud of the 36 years he worked at General Motors. Gordon loved to spend time on the family farm, hunting, fishing, camping, traveling, and gathering with family and friends.
