Gloria Jean Preston

Gloria Jean Preston (nee Nickerson), of Azusa, California, passed away Saturday, August 29, 2026, at the age of 69. Beloved daughter of the late Roy Delancy Nickerson Jr. And Mildred Jean Erway Gould; loving wife of Keith Preston; devoted mother of Ben (Bekah) Glass, Natalie (John) Säfwenberg, Houston Preston, Andrew Preston, Hayley Preston, and Laurie (Cole) Heim; loving grandmother of Wren, Astrid, Silas, Naomi, Zak, Zinaida, Zara, and Ivan; dear sister of Bev Fink, Gary Cutlip, Tom Bache, David Nickerson, and Eigil Bache.

Gloria was a Christian Science teacher and practitioner who lived a life centered on love, compassion, and spiritual healing. She loved the ocean, traveling, and expressing her creativity through painting and home projects. She was deeply artistic and an intuitive, thoughtful person who was passionate about caring for and advocating for young teens. Gloria taught summer classes focused on love, goodness, and spiritual healing, sharing her wisdom and kindness with others. Above all, she loved her family deeply and treasured the time they shared together. Gloria was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
