Gloria “Jean” Portis

Portis, Gloria "Jean", of Saint Peters, MO, died on Tuesday December 23, 2014, at the age of 82. Loving daughter of the late Rev. Earl and Esther Pounds; devoted mother of Pam (Dave) Capp and Ronald (Cathy) Portis, Jr.; dear mother-in-law of Mitch Mattingly, Sr.; cherished grandmother of Michael (Cathy), Scott, David (Keri), and Dustin (Sarah) Skeeters, Angie Bartoszkiewicz, Mitch Mattingly, Jr., and Reid Portis; treasured great-grandmother of Amanda, Joshua, Kaitlyn, Jenna, Daniel, Natalie, Zoe, Evan, Anthony, Jorden, Abi, Ryann, Landon, and Tyler; loving sister of Jerry Lafferty, David Lafferty, R'Neill Wells, Arleta Rice, and Patty Carey. She is preceded in death by her daughter Susie Mattingly, grandson Ryan Portis, siblings Evelyn Rhodes and Jim Lafferty, and her life long partner and best friend Ronald Portis, Sr.
