Gloria Jane Holtgrieve

Gloria Jane Holtgrieve (nee Kimbro), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Thursday, September 24, 2026, at the age of 97. Loving wife of the late Donald August William Holtgrieve; beloved daughter of the late Mayme Kimbro and Frank Kimbro; devoted mother of D. Andrew (Becky DeSplinter) Holtgrieve and Dina Anne (Michael David) Wehde; cherished grandmother of Donald Austin (Anna) Holtgrieve, Troy Michael Wehde, Dale Andrew (Caitlin) Holtgrieve, and Lucas William Wehde; treasured great-grandmother of August Holtgrieve; and is also survived by many beloved nieces, nephews and cousins.

Gloria enjoyed quilting, playing bridge, golf, bowling, casino gambling and vacationing in Florida. She was a talented bowler and golfer, earning numerous awards throughout the years. Gloria graduated from Miss Hickey’s School for Secretaries and worked for the Corps of Engineers before becoming a homemaker and later a legal secretary. She was married for 63 years and cherished time spent with her four grandsons and great-grandson. Gloria was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
