Barr, Glenn W., of Edwardsville, IL, died on Saturday, February 13, 2016, at the age of 77. Beloved husband of Patsy A. Barr; cherished son of the late Winfred and Marguerite Barr; devoted father of Debbie (Fotios) Sakadaris, Danny Barr, David Barr, and Denise Barr; loving grandfather of Colt Farley, Alexis Sakadaris, Tyler Barr, Allison Barr, and Amanda Sakadaris; treasured great-grandfather of Hannah Farley.
Glenn worked for many years as an aircraft mechanic. In 2007, he received the Charles Taylor Master Mechanic Award for his lifetime accomplishments as senior mechanic. Glenn’s greatest joy was spending time with his family. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Memorials may be made to BJC Hospice or Shriner’s Hospital.
