Glendale "Glenn" C. Sherman, of St. Charles, Missouri, passed away Monday, November 18, 2019 at the age of 82. Beloved husband of Pat Mary Sherman and the late Barbara Annette Sherman (12/19/1939 - 7/13/2007); cherished son of the late Delbert and Hattie Sherman. Devoted father of Keith (Kim), Carl (Shelly), Kenneth (Julie), and Eric (Kathy) Sherman, step-father of Rick Morris; loving grandfather of Jacob Sherman, Beverly Quinn, Monica Witt, Katie Sherman, Matthew Sherman, Kayla Overby, Keaton Sherman, Mackenzee Sherman, Nicholas Sherman, step-grandfather of Rebecka Smith and Amanda Morris; treasured great-grandfather of Kaitlyn, Kali, Karter, Declan, Meara, Janie, Mariah, Lacey, Peyton, Bear; dear brother of Phil Sherman, Wanda Summerton, Trisha Pike, and Danny Sherman.
Glenn was a part of many organizations including, Board of Director for Wentzville Park, Board Director of Solid Waste Management for Wentzville, Treasurer of Wentzville's Bicentennial Commission, Board of Director for Wentzville Community, Club Chairman of St. Charles County Solid Waste Management Commission, President of St. Charles County Western Democratic Club, Board Member of Youth Fair of St. Charles County, Vice President of Wentzville Community Historical Society, Chairman of Subcommittee for Liberty Gardens Park Design, Chaired Committee for Originating and Establishing City Flag, Commissioner for Boy Scouts Serving Wentzville Troops, and former member of the Wentzville Board of Alderman. He retired from McDonnell Douglas where he worked as an engineer for over 35 years. Glenn enjoyed traveling domestically and internationally. He also enjoyed Thrasher Shows - Sale of Merchandise Woodwork craftsmanship and driving his RV to see the country. Glenn earned his bachelor’s degree in engineering at Maryville University. He was a member of New Beginnings Church of God in St. Peters. Glendale was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
