Glenda Kelley

Glenda June Kelley (nee Hortiz), of Palm Bay, FL, passed away Saturday, April 22, 2023 at the age of 86 at home surrounded by family. Beloved wife of the late Larry Kelley; cherished daughter of the late Alvery, Sr. and Louise Hortiz; devoted mother of Timothy G. (Starr) Kelley, Tammy (Rich) Meagher and the late Michael (Ellen) Kelley; loving grandmother of ten; treasured great-grandmother of sixteen; dear sister of Earl (Jean) Hortiz, Ted Hortiz, Roy (Lyn) Hortiz, Mary (Gary) Laux, the late Alvery “Al” (Valentine) Hortiz, Jr., the late Greg Hortiz and the late Charmaine (the late Jim) Wittenben; Glenda was a loving aunt, cousin and friend to many.  

Glenda was the oldest of 8 siblings. She worked as a secretary and as an administrator for many years for First United Methodist Church on First Capitol. She was a loving mother and wife. Spending time with her family is what she cherished the most. Glenda enjoyed dining out at her favorite restaurants. In her free time, she enjoyed golf, bowling, boating, and traveling around the world.  

Glenda was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
