In Loving Memory of Glenda Spaite Bextermueller

June 28, 1933 – October 09, 2026

Glenda Spaite Bextermueller, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 9, 2026, at the age of 93. She leaves behind a lifetime of love, countless cherished memories, and a family who will forever hold her close in their hearts.

Born on June 28, 1933, Glenda lived a beautiful life centered on the people she loved most. She shared 70 wonderful years of marriage with her devoted husband, John Bextermueller. Together, they built a life filled with love, commitment, and family legacy that will continue for generations to come.

Glenda was an amazing mother whose love knew no bounds. Her greatest joy was her family, and she took tremendous pride in the lives and accomplishments of her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She had a special way of making those she loved feel cared for and cherished. Her family was her heart, and the love she gave them will remain a treasured gift forever.

She is survived by her loving husband of 70 years, John Bextermueller; her four children, Monica Henke; Mike Bextermueller and his wife, Raye Jean; Leann Cahall and her husband, Greg; and Mark Bextermueller and his wife, Kim. She is also survived by her sister, Bobbi Wagner, and her husband, Gary; her brother, Bill Wagner, and his wife, Amy; 13 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren, all of whom were blessed to be part of her life and family.

Glenda was preceded in death by her parents, Algie Harner and Bert Spaite; her brother, Robert Spaite; her son-in-law, Frank Henke; and her granddaughter, Cristina Gutierrez.

Beyond her love for her family, Glenda was a talented artist with a creative spirit. Through her artwork, she shared a special part of herself with the world, leaving behind beautiful expressions of her talent and imagination. Just as her artwork reflected her creativity, her life reflected the beauty of a woman who gave so much of herself to others.

Glenda will be remembered for the love she gave so freely, the family she nurtured, and the countless ways she touched the lives of those around her. She was more than a mother and grandmother—she was a source of love, strength, and comfort whose presence made life more beautiful.

Although her family must now say goodbye, the love she planted in their hearts will never fade. Her legacy lives on through her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and all those who were fortunate enough to know and love her.
