Beloved son of the late Gilbert Thomas and Freida (nee: Geil) Dieckmeyer; dear husband of the late Bernice Brandhorst, first wife and the late Marcella Byerley, second wife; loving father of Tom Dieckmeyer, Thelma (Del) Cardwell and Sharon (Joe) Kopf; dear brother of William (Ruth) Dieckmeyer, John ''Jack'' Dieckmeyer, Bob (Hazel) Dieckmeyer and Betty Brown; half brother of Barbara (Harvey) and Linda; cherished grandfather of Shelia (Dennis) Shell, Dale Crawford, Kevin Crawford and great grandfather of Daniel and Rebecca Shell. Mr. Dieckmeyer was a member of the Machinist Union and First Baptist Church of Harvester. He was an avid collector, loved fishing, hunting and the outdoors.
