Germaine M. Barnard

Memorials may be made to Chapel of the Cross Lutheran Church. Barnard, Germaine M. (nee: Swanson), of St. Peters, Missouri, died on Sunday, January 11, 2009 at the age of 85. Dearest wife of the late Gordon Kristensen, dear daughter of the late Frank and Ida Swanson; Loving mother of Gregory Kristensen; beloved grandmother of Karen Kristensen and Kevin (Lori) Kristensen and their mother, Carol Rose; great-grandmother of Kyleigh, Anthony, Mia, Julia and Landon; dear sister of Frank (Lorraine) Swanson and the late Lorraine Swanson Tilseth, Gerald Swanson (twin brother) and Ellsworth Swanson; preceded in death by her 2nd husband, Bruce Barnard.. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was employed as a Secretary at Veteran's Administration, a member of Chapel of the Cross Lutheran Church and a Veteran of the US Coast Guard.
