Geraldine Maunder

Geraldine Lee Maunder (née Tieman), of O’Fallon, Missouri, passed away on Monday, May 4, 2026, at the age of 89.

She was the beloved mother of Cindy (Tim) Connoley, Mindy (Mike) Mitchell, Missy Sachse, and Chrissy Stringer. Geraldine was a proud grandmother to Michael, Nikki (Donnie), Eric, Catie (Lars), Jordan (Ryan), Peyton, Josie (Conner), Riley, and Nick, and a cherished great-grandmother to Jackson, Zoey, Tate, Mitchell, Nora, Cooper, Leah, Joy, Larsen, Tripp, and Vivian.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert W. Maunder; her parents, Charles and Addie Tieman; and her six older sisters. She also held a special place in the lives of many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Above all, her family was her greatest joy and priority. She took immense pride in attending her grandchildren’s activities and supporting them in every way. Known for her love, class, and grace, she treated everyone with dignity and respect, values she instilled deeply in her children and grandchildren.

She enjoyed reading, watching television court dramas, and had a deep love for dogs, whom she considered part of her family.

Geraldine was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
