Georgia A. Hoenig

Georgia Ann Hoenig (nee Horenkamp), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Thursday, June 11, 2026 at the age of 73. Beloved wife of 48 years to Donald Hoenig; cherished daughter of the late Francis and Alda Horenkamp; devoted mother of Michael Hoenig and Phillip (Courtney) Hoenig; loving grandmother of Brooks Hoenig; dear sister of Marjorie Cox, Cookie Clay, Debbie Boyer, Cheri Verrett, Tina Hellmers, the late John Melton, the late Terry Horenkamp, the late Janice Rice and the late Rhonda Clever.

Georgia loved games, enjoyed volunteering at Immanuel Lutheran Church and School, and was an avid reader. She was a passionate fan of Mizzou athletics, her alma mater, and also was a season ticket holder for the Billikens. Kind, measured, and always willing to help others, Georgia touched the lives of many with her quiet generosity. Her greatest joy was her family, and she deeply loved her sons and grandson. Georgia was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
