George R. Thompson Jr.

George R. Thompson Jr., of St. Charles, Missouri, passed away Sunday, October 25, 2026, at the age of 90. Beloved husband of Lynda Thompson; devoted father of Debbie Dickinson and Bobby Thompson; dear friend of Melinda Jansen.

George proudly served in the military and worked as an aviation mechanic for TWA. Known affectionately as “New York George,” he shared 40 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Lynda. He will also be remembered by his faithful dog, Cooper, who brought joy to his life. George was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
