George Nicholas Gerhart Jr.

George Nicholas “Nick” Gerhart Jr., of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at the age of 88. Beloved husband of Catherine Gerhart; cherished son of the late Anne and George Gerhart, Sr.; devoted father of Katie (Dan) Millslagle and George "Nick" (Liz) Gerhart, III; loving grandfather of Matthew Millslagle, Konrad Gerhart, and Charlie Gerhart; dear brother of the late Mary Lee Kohnen and the late Jack Gerhart.

Nick was married to his beloved wife for 62 years and deeply cherished his family, especially his children and grandchildren. Born and raised in Florissant, he was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, loyal friend, and dog lover. Alongside his late brother, Nick founded four service stations and took great pride in his service with the U.S. Army Reserves. Nick loved to laugh and tell a good joke. He had a passion for sports and was a dedicated Cardinals fan, and he also treasured the many memories made traveling the world with his wife and family. Nick was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
