Genoa Gililland

Genoa Gililland, of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Friday, February 28, 2014 at the age of 95. Loving wife of the late Russell Gililland; dear daughter of the late Andrew and Pearl Lauritzen; devoted mother of Rene Stanfill, Andrew Gililland, and Don Gililland; cherished grandmother of 7, great-grandmother of 10, and great-great-grandmother of many; also loved by many nieces, nephews, friends and relatives. She is preceded in death by her siblings Frank Lauritzen and Dorothy McPheeters.
Genoa was a buyer for the U.S. Government before she retired. She was also a devoted member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church for 30 years. She was very artistic and enjoyed sewing along with other crafts. Most of all she was a wonderful mother to her children.
