Genevieve Vanderpool

Genevieve “Jenny” Vanderpool (nee Smith), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Monday, August 21, 2023, at the age of 87. Beloved wife of the late Jim Vanderpool; cherished daughter of the late Beatrice and Russell Smith; devoted mother of Bill Vanderpool, Jim Vanderpool, Gloria Decker, Sandy Swan, Deb Correll, Barb Gardner, and Linda Keehan; dear sister of Larry Smith, Ann Burrows, Shirley Sarafin, Mary Irvine, Midge Wegner, Rebecca Smith. Jenny was preceded in death by 3 siblings.

Jenny was a loving woman and held her family very near and dear to her heart, especially her grandson, Miles. She lived with her son Bill, his wife Sara, and their son, Miles, for the past 13 years. She was an avid reader and often enjoyed a good book in her free time; she also loved crosswords. Jenny was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
