Genell Henderson

Henderson, Genell, of St. Charles, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at the age of 86. She was born on March 4, 1927 in Marion County, Alabama to the late George Osborn, Sr. and Rosa Osborn (NEE: Bull). Genell is the devoted wife of 63 years of Lewis "Ken" Henderson; cherished mother of Donna Workman, Deborah Henderson, and Darla Henderson and the dear sister of Iris Murray. She is also survived by her prized canine companion Lizzy and her granddogs Demelza, Abby, Danny, and Duncan. She is preceded in death by her brothers George Osborn, Jr., Jack Osborn, and Joe Osborn. Genell was employed as a teacher with City of St. Charles School District until her retirement and was a member of The National Education Association, The American Association of University Women, The Missouri Retired Teachers Association, St. Charles Rose Society, was a faithful member of Faith United Methodist Church for 38 years, The United Methodist Women and Nadine Circle.
