Gary Dale Rodenberg

Gary Dale Rodenberg, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Sunday, November 1, 2026, at the age of 71. Beloved husband of Katherine Rodenberg; cherished son of the late James and Eva Lou Rodenberg; devoted father of Sarah (Jeffrey) Files, Susan (Michael) Anderson, and Steven (Emma) Rodenberg; loving grandfather of Madelyn Files, Kinsley Files, Tessa Files, Dillon Anderson, Chase Anderson, and Ada Rodenberg; dear brother of James Rodenberg, Thomas Rodenberg, Gilbert Rodenberg, Pamela Rodenberg, Norman Rodenberg, Kimberly Anderson, Brian Rodenberg, Donna Sandborn, and Shelly Moentmann. Gary is preceded in death by his two sisters, Leanna Heil and Becky Repine, and his brother, Dennis Rodenberg.

Gary was a kind, easygoing, and friendly man who had a heart for helping others. He was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need and was known for his generosity and devotion to his family and church. Gary enjoyed building things and working with his hands, always finding something to fix, improve, or create around the house. He especially enjoyed upgrading the electronics in his home and taking pride in making things better.

Above all, Gary adored his grandchildren. He never missed an opportunity to support them, proudly attending every sporting event and cheering them on along the way. His love and dedication to his family meant everything to him. Gary also enjoyed following Mizzou sports and cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals. He loved traveling and making special memories on trips with his family, cherishing the time spent together.

His faith and church family were an important part of his life. Gary faithfully volunteered at the food pantry at Harvester Christian Church, where he continued to share his generous spirit and willingness to serve others. Gary's kindness, loving heart, generosity, and devotion to those around him will never be forgotten. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Gary's name to Harvester Christian Church.
