Garry Clayton

Garry Clayton, of Perry, MO, passed away Monday, December 23, 2024 at the age of 77. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 47 years, Sheri Clayton, older brother, Billy Clayton, and parents Virginia and Haynes Clayton. Cherished twin brother of Larry Clayton; devoted father of Jennifer (Don) Lovelady, loving grandfather of Donnie (Courtney) Lovelady, Haley Lovelady and Collin Lovelady, great-grandfather of Naomi Lovelady, uncle and friend to many.

Garry proudly and honorably served in the United States Army and when he returned home, he began his career as an ironworker for many years. When he retired, he worked for Persimmon Woods Golf Club which he enjoyed greatly being outside every day. 

Garry enjoyed hunting, fishing, and relaxing at their home at Mark Twain Lake. Garry, Sheri and their grandchildren spent many days fishing, swimming and enjoying time with family and friends. Garry was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
