Beloved husband of the late Ivah Scism; dearest son of the late Thomas Gilbert and Myrtle Cleveland Scism; loving father of Bert (Carolyn) Scism; dear brother of Sam (Vera) Scism, the late Byron Scism and brother-in-law of Betty Scism; cherished grandfather of Gwendolyn Scism, Diana (Mike) Cornett and great grandfather of Amanda Cornett. Mr. Scism was a member of First United Methodist Church in St. Charles, Missouri and the Rotary Club of St. Charles. He was a past District Rotary Governor in Sikeston, Missouri. Mr. Scism was a manager with Production Credit Association for 30+ years.
