Freida Arlene Alexander

Freida Arlene Alexander (nee Carmen), of Laurie, MO, passed away Monday, July 15, 2024, at the age of 94. Loving wife of the late Stanley Alexander; beloved daughter of the late Thomas and Vinnie Carmen; devoted mother of Phil (Cynthia) Alexander and Patti Sallee; cherished grandmother of Sean Alexander, Melissa (Andy) Ligons, and Amy (Nick) Brown; treasured great-grandmother of Denver, Dawson, Ava, Roman, and Quinton; dear sister of Joyce Wyler. 

Freida was married to her loving husband for over 40 years. She spent her entire career as a teacher and was a dedicated member of the Birds Society in Florida, enjoying bird watching with her husband. A talented cook, Freida also had a passion for traveling across the United States, visiting national parks. She cherished her friends and family and had a deep love for nature and the outdoors. Freida was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
