Leistner, Frederick (Fritz), of St. Charles, Missouri, died Sunday, July 17, 2016, at the age of 90.
Beloved husband to Shirley Jean Leistner; cherished son to the late Erich and Alma Leistner; devoted father to Mary Kay (Edward) Weber, Caryl Jean (Tom) Ulmer, and Michael Alan (Jennifer Gruenloh) Leistner; loving grandfather to Bernhard William Weber II, Blain Erich Ulmer, Amanda Weber (John) Bullard, Clayton Thomas Ulmer, Ilsa Kay Leistner, and Oliver Alan Leistner.
Frederick was preceded in death by siblings Erich Leistner, Jr., Virginia Leistner Kruel
Frederick proudly served his country in the United States Army Air Corps during World War II. Frederick was a member of the American Legion post 312 and also an active member at Good Sheppard Church UCC. His greatest joy was spending time with his family. Frederick was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew him. Memorials can be made to Good Shepherd UCC and the American Diabetes Association.
