Frank Jasper Pupillo

Frank Jasper "Grumpy" Pupillo, of Wright City, MO, died on Friday October 23, 2015 at the age of 63. Loving husband of Carol Pupillo; beloved son of Loretta (the late Edward) Hertel and the late Frank Pupillo; devoted father of Christopher Pupillo, Justin (Christina) Pupillo, Leah (Bryan) Viers, and stepfather of Misty (Jon Sansoucie) Spain, Melanie Patterson, and Stephen (Sabine) Patterson; cherished grandfather of Amanda Nusbaum, Erik Spain, Alex O’Toole, Matthew King, Ashley King, Amanda King, Maison King, Samuel Patterson, and Hannah Patterson; dear brother of Diana (Gerry) Hamilton, Michael Pupillo, David (Linda) Pupillo, Steven (Kelly) Pupillo, Thomas (Tammy) Pupillo, Dennis (Barbara) Preis, and Susan Rhoads; cherished son-in-law of Marjorie Rhoads. Frank is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a great-niece that loved him dearly.




Frank was an avid sports fan, always watching the St. Louis Blues, St. Louis Cardinals, St. Louis Rams, and Mizzou Tigers. He enjoyed taking care of his yard and being outdoors. Most of all, he loved his friends and family.




In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Cancer Society or Leukemia and Lymphoma Research Foundation.
