Frank Paul Cali

Frank Paul Cali, of St. Louis, MO, passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at the age of 96. Beloved husband of Helen Cali, who he has been married to for 69 years. Cherished son of the late Sam and Nellie Cali; devoted father of Bridget (Jeff) Ohmes and Randy (Brenda) Cali; loving grandfather of Anna (Oscar) Mata, Erica Dove, Alexander Ohmes, Joshua Cali and Jacob (Sara) Cali, treasured great-grandfather of Luciana and Cecilia Mata, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Frank is preceded in death by his brother Thomas and sister Marie.

Frank proudly and honorably served his country in the Korean War from 1951 to 1954. After his service he spent many years delivering packages for Famous-Barr, where he was known for his dedication and strong work ethic. In the 1970s, he and three partners founded their own delivery company, Consolidated Parcel Service, continuing to work until his retirement at age 70. In retirement, Frank gave back as a member of the Children’s Shriners Organization, raising funds for Shriners Hospitals and supporting children in need. He found joy in life’s simple pleasures, especially playing cards on trips to Las Vegas and ballroom dancing with his beloved wife, Helen, with whom he shared nearly 70 wonderful years of marriage. A proud Italian and self-proclaimed food critic, his opinion was always trusted—if he said something was good, it truly was. Known for his quick wit and love of jokes, Frank had a special gift for making others smile and will be remembered for the laughter and warmth he brought to those around him. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed by all who knew him.
