Franette Hopkins

Franette Hopkins (nee Stickler), of Foristell, MO, passed away Monday, September 1, 2025, at the age of 88. Loving wife of the late William R. Hopkins; beloved daughter of the late Ralph and Evelyn Stickler; devoted mother of Douglas (Sherrie) Hopkins and Janet Peeler; cherished grandmother of seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Franette is also preceded in death by her daughter, Joyce Radtke; son, Darin Hopkins; sister, Phyllis Schmeeckle; and brother, James Stickler.

Franette dedicated her life to teaching, spending over 30 years shaping young minds as a first-grade teacher. She had a love for reading and enjoyed spending time working on puzzles. She was devoted to children and gave so much of her time and heart to their growth and happiness. Franette was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Memorials may be made in Franette's name to the American Cancer Society.
